QuietPage is built on a simple commitment: your writing belongs to you, and only you.

What stays on your device

Every page you write, every preference you set, every setting you choose — all of it lives only on your device, in storage that is private to QuietPage. We do not have a server. We do not have an account system. We have no way to see your writing.

What we collect

We do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, usage data, or content from your use of QuietPage. There is no analytics, no telemetry, no advertising identifier, no crash reporting tied to you.

Face ID

If you enable the in-app lock, QuietPage uses Apple's Face ID (or Touch ID, or your passcode) to unlock the app. The biometric data never leaves your device — Apple's Secure Enclave handles it. We only see whether the system told us authentication succeeded.

Notifications

If you turn on the daily nudge, QuietPage schedules local notifications on your device through iOS. These notifications are not sent from any server. iOS delivers them at the time you chose; we never see whether you opened them.

Export

When you export your pages, QuietPage writes a plain-text file to a temporary location on your device and hands it to the iOS share sheet. What happens after that — sending it to yourself, saving it to Files, sharing it with someone else — is entirely your choice and is governed by the destination app's own privacy practices, not ours.

Children

QuietPage is rated 4+ on the App Store. Because we do not collect any personal information from anyone, we are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will live at this URL with an updated date at the top. Because the app collects nothing, any future changes will be small clarifications rather than reversals.
