Common questions

My worries didn't sync to a new device

By design — the worry jar never sends anything to the cloud. Each device keeps its own jar. This is the privacy promise.

I don't see the widget on my home screen

Long-press an empty area on the home screen → tap the + button in the top-left → search "the worry jar" → choose a size → Add Widget. Lock-screen and watch widgets are added the same way from the lock-screen and watch-face customization views.

Notifications aren't arriving

Open iOS Settings → Notifications → the worry jar → make sure Allow Notifications is on. Then in the app, Settings → Gentle reminder → enable and pick a time.

The ambient sounds are silent

Check that your iPhone's silent switch is off and that the app's volume slider in Settings → Ambient sound isn't at zero. Sounds are designed to mix with anything else playing — they shouldn't pause your music.

Read the privacy policy. Short version: nothing leaves your device.
